Even if he said that he had forgotten, his skin didn’t pay attention to that admission. At night it would remember the trailing fingers, the hot sweat flooding the soft skin under his lips and hands, the faint pain of having to breath so hard, and the pure ecstasy afterwards.

Every night he’d wake up in a cold sweat. Every night he’d fight off the images that barraged his mind, the heat, the musk, the bodies arching into each other, the fact that he never felt the headboard hit him as he rocked forward in an animalistic frenzy.

But then, as his eyes snapped open and surveyed the dark room around him, he would remember where he was…

…And who was sleeping beside him.
