So Be It

Hina knew that the prince was in love with his sister, but didn’t really care as he pressed his lips harshly against the black-haired young man’s, pushing with all of the urgency he could.

Yes, Mio was definitely upset, and the reaction that Shouei gave probably didn’t help, but he didn’t care.

Would he ever admit that he had definitely lied to his beautiful sister? It wasn’t that he loved Shouei really, but that he refused to let anyone take her away.

So Mio was upset with him, was she?

So be it, his mind whispered as he was pushed into the bed linens, most likely washed by his sister.

That was when Shouei got violent.

A hand harshly threaded in his hair and palmed his skull before yanking upwards. Hina was forced to go with the motion, or risk clumps of hair being yanked out.

Shouei knew.

He should have known that the young man would only play around for so long before realizing what the game was.

Shouei never did like anyone else playing with Mio. So naturally, he’d pick up on the fact that while she loved him, she had her precious limits.

And hell welcome anyone who dared to manipulate and exploit those limits. They were his alone to exploit.

Not her brother’s.

“If you value your life, you’ll stop what you’re doing now.” A sensual whisper tickled Hina’s ear as his head was forced back against the linens.

“Why should I?”

“Because we both know what game you’re playing. Mio is mine, remember that.” Shouei growled out that last half, possessiveness flooding the tone as he let go of the boy and got off the bed.

Hina was terrified.

Mio was his.
