Do No Evil (PG)

Snow wasn’t evil.

She had been rather fond of the fluffy white precipitation. Until a metal-covered hand ground her face into it, a heavy boot against her back as she struggled against the warlord and freezing her ass off in the process.

She rather enjoyed hurling a good snowball at someone, right up to the point where she found her neck almost skewered by metal claws, the dark eyes of the Yami Masho* frightening as he demanded that she expose Korin and Kongo’s location.

Snow mixed with down as she felt the blades scrape her chest through multiple layers of fabric.

She hadn’t minded ice either. She loved to skate on many of the Parisian ponds in her memories.

Ice would now terrify her when silence became her world for those so many minutes in that waterfall. Minutes that felt like eternity until the silence shattered with a scream of power.

It was as she woke up to warm metal against her face, the smell of incense and sweat in her nose that Nasuti knew how much she hated winter.
